Legal Assistant

Fast-paced litigation firm seeking to add Paralegals/Legal Assistants with outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently to our team.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
oDrafting client correspondence, discovery, pleadings, and other documents.
oProviding litigation support e.
g.
, filing court documents, preparing discovery requests/responses, preparing for depositions, preparing exhibits and trial materials, attending court proceedings.
oMonitoring cases and conducting fact investigation, document gathering and legal research.
oServing as a source of client information, support, and advocacy.
oCommunicating effectively with clients, attorneys, staff, and outside parties.
oMaintaining data in case management system.
oAssisting with administrative office tasks as needed.
oOther tasks as needed Skills & Competencies:

Experience:
oAssociate's or Bachelor's Degree (completed or in pursuit)oProficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications, such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; proficiency in electronic case filing and Adobe are a plus.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
